The first activities of Transportes Conrado go back to the year 1973, when Domingo Conrado acquired a taxi license in the village of Agulo (La Gomera). As time went by, the purchase of several minibuses was necessary, as well as the incorporation of personnel for the transfer of laborers to the mountain, due to the declaration of La Gomera mountains as a National Park.
By 1990, the company had approximately 12 vehicles, including buses and minibuses, so it decided to set up a subsidiary of the company on the island of Tenerife.
Today Transportes Conrado is a family business with a fleet of approximately 35 buses, from small microbuses of 9 seats for conventional transfers to buses of 20, 35, 45, 55 and 75 seats for long-haul routes.
This company has been receiving a subsidy for investment projects of small and medium-sized businesses in the Canary Islands for 2016, granted by the Consejería de Economía, Industria, Comercio y Conocimiento del Gobierno de Canarias, with the help of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
